Canyon Views cell phone policy should be changed. It is not right how the school can tell you not to use something that they do not pay or have any control over. The school should allow students to use cell phones when they need/want to cause it is their own property.

I agree if we are not doing anything in class except sitting there we should be allowed to use our phones. And the school should not be allowed to take them away for a week, we pay for them they are ours. And whats up with the teachers being able to use theirs during class????
No. Cell phones keep students from doing what they're supposed to be doing, learning. I think the school should have no control over them when we're not in class, though.

I agree, but only if it isn't disrupting the class and your own learning. I don't think people should text or call in the middle of a lecture or anything, but the rules could be advised.
i completely agree with you. the cell phone is the sudents property and they should be able to do what ever they please with it when ever they want.
